A) RANGE OF EXPERIMENTS:
1) To Study all components used in refrigeration cycle.
2) To Study vapor compression refrigeration cycle.
3) To determine the Refrigeration effect, Work output, Actual C.O.P, Carnot C.O.P, Theoretical C.O.P.
B) SPECIFICATION:
1) Compressor:- Hermetically sealed compressor having cooling capacity of (1 ton) Emerson or Equivalent.
2) Condenser:- Air cooled condenser made up of copper pipe & Aluminum fins of matching capacity with fan cooling. FHP fan motor with fan blade is provided.
3) Evaporator:- Air passed Evaporator made of copper pipe and aluminum fins of matching capacity with fan cooling.
4) Expansion device:-
5) Rota meter: - For measuring flow rate of liquid refrigerant.
6) Digital Wattmeter.
7) High Pressure & low pressure Gauge Make: - Wika or Equivalent.
8) Multipoint Temperature Indicator: Range 0 to 250 °C, with 1°C least count using Thermocouples.
9) Dry bulb and wet bulb thermometer of standard make.
